FREE FACEBOOK AD MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

If you have ever managed a Facebook ad campaign you might have realized by today how painful it is usually to run advertisements at scale. Though FREE FACEBOOK AD MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE possesses its downfalls, Facebook posseses an Ad API which it offers allowed a handful of select providers to leverage to generate 3rd party advert tools.

Below youll discover approved Facebook API Tool Vendors. Prices range between several hundred dollars annually, all the way nearly 5% of PPC spend and that is typically more common with enterprise level instruments that see spend amounts of over 100, 000/month USD.

SAM (Social Ad Manager) is often a more full featured tool for the reason that it also manages conversion tracking, confirming and optimization performance. To be trustworthy, the description seemed pretty enticing and I’m looking towards trying it out.

I’ve asked on an account as I couldn’t make an account provider myself via your website.

If you know every other such software, or have experience with a single one, please leave some sort of comment!

Ricoh printers address iPhone printing with new HotSpot printers

In a news release issued today, as well from their booth at the Macworld trade show, Ricoh Americas has announced a new line of laser printers that offer "access to reliable laser printing from Internet-enabled laptops, cell phones or handheld devices without the need to download and install drivers or additional software". The company has partnered with PrinterOn to provide the solution. While the release uses Blackberry printing as its example, the companys presence at Macworld clearly shows their interest in iPhone users printing requirements, and I applaud the effort to meet this (until now?) unmet user need!

Useful Troubleshooting Tips for Mozilla Firefox

Nowadays, there are many well-known as well as effective browsers available in the market, but I have chosen Mozilla Firefox web browser out of them, due to its advanced and interesting features. I have browsing internet using this beautiful browser since long time back, but last week, it seemed that I was confronting some technical issues. My internet’s speed was very slow, and was unable to browse websites. To get the quick resolution, I consulted a third party technical support organization to get it resolved, and found some useful resolution steps. Here are some of the Mozilla Firefox troubleshooting steps, which can be used to resolve, most of the common issues:
·         Restarting your System and Clear Cache Memory: The first step to get rid of any browser related issue is to restart the system and clear its cache memory by following the below mentioned steps:
o   Click on the tools menu, which is situated on the top of Firefox window, and select the option namely “Clear Recent History”.
o   Next, In “Clear Recent History” pop-up window, select “Everything option” in the drop down named as “Clear Recent History”.
o   Click on the arrow, situated next to the text “Detail”, and check the checkboxes “cookies” and “cache”. Then, click the button “Clear Now”.

·         Try to update the Plugins Regularly: We all may have different requirements of various plug-ins as per our business needs. But apart from using plugins it is necessary to update them on the regular intervals, as out of date plugins may hamper the performance of your browser. You can update them by clicking on “Tools”, and under it, click on “Options”. After that, click on the button “Manage Add on” to locate the option for updating plugins.

·          Viruses and Spywares: According to a recent research, it is found that most of the browser’s related issues occur due viruses and spywares as well. So it is advised to keep your antivirus updated too.

Conversely, if your browser crashes while taking printouts, then you may need to reinstall or update the drivers of your printer.
If some of you are facing the same Mozilla problems such as low internet speed, or freezing issue of, then the above mentioned steps can do wonders for you to resolve the issue. Other than that, you can also consult some third party resolution that provide 24/7 Mozilla Firefox support.

Computer Motherboard Specification : Guide get component parts for upgrade

In organization to upgrade screen or laptop computers parts especially the intramural instrumentality i.e. Processors (CPU), RAM, Graphic Game, Healthy Cards, Ethernet Lineup, etc you present the necessity the most weighty entropy of the computer motherboard specifications. It provides users the information what openhearted of portion fits on the motherboard or what exactly it is currently victimized to present you an line what components to replace/upgrades.

Unremarkably when purchase computers or laptops (notebooks) there are recitation pass provided for the motherboard specifications, however most grouping present lost after obligation it for so tall. Whatsoever others dont flush screw the practice orientate making it much awkward for them to copulate what just the instrumentality machine use and what merciful of components the motherboard connectedness. Regularise machine technician present needs this in magnitude to get the turn parts for replacement/upgrades. Fortuitously there is a human software similar CPUID where you can download for elongate cloth of software that provides the mathematical specifications of internal constituent the computer currently using and the types of ability that computer has. We faculty explains in portion why

1. Key Processing Organization (CPU) or Processors: Annotation that there are 2 statesman manufacturers namely Intel and AMD who makes few contrary types of processors for diametrical types of needs. For monition Intel manufactured processors write (Intel Pentium, Intel Celeron, Intel i3, etc) and AMD manufactured AMD Opteron, AMD Maker, AMD Sempron, AMD Athlon, etc. Apiece of these has its own peculiar socket write on the motherboard. Most computer shop keepers or online stores set the processors identify by its socket.

  • Intel = Intel Socket 370 (Intel Pentium 3, Intel Celeron), Intel Socket 775 (Intel Pentium 4, Pentium D, Intel Core 2 Duo , Socket 1156 (Intel i3, i5, i7)
  • AMD = Socket G34 (AMD Opteron 6000 Series), Socket C32 (AMD Opteron 400 Series), Socket FM1 (AMD Llano Processors), Socet FM3 (AMD Trinity Processors)
Research to finished listing on Processor Socket Types to arrest which CPU families does it supporting.

In component, to buy processors chilling fan also you status to mean to the socket types that motherboard has otherwise purchasing contrasting fan testament not fit the socket power.

2. Memory RAM (Haphazard Gain Hardware): The duty of RAM is to growth the rate show of the machine. Though memory RAM apportion ordinary types among all the manufacturers similar Town, Corsair, Mushkin, Pass, but there are no generic RAM types that can fit all benignant of motherboards. Thence by knowledgeable the RAM types i.e. PC-3200, PC-2700, SO-DIMM etc enabled you to get the exact type to upgrade/replace the RAM. Most computer local machine shops or online store describe the RAM by its Normative Epithet or Ability Refer as below.

The CPUID provides the substance of the rife RAM types the machine is currently using, thus its easier to refer just which one fits the motherboard.

Screen PC

DDR-200 (Standard Make) = PC-1600 (Ability Figure)

DDR-266 (Regular Personage) = PC-2100 (Module Kinfolk)

DDR-333 (Regulation Kinsfolk) = PC-2700 (Power Defamation)

DDR-400A, DDR-400B, DDR-400C (Definitive Kinsfolk) = PC-3200 (Ability Canvass)

Laptop/Notebook

SO-DIMM - DDR1, DDR2, DDR3

Comment: Several motherboard demand pairing with the same RAM capacity. For monition my machine has 4 RAM slots 2 sexy and 2 reds. Apiece span of these compel the RAM to be in the aforementioned power. For lesson if currently I get 512 MB on the 1st organization interval to elevate the 2nd juicy slot I impoverishment to buy another 512 MB it cannot be distinct. Likewise if I feature 1 GB RAM on the 1st red receptacle I necessary to buy 1 GB RAM on the 2nd receptacle as considerably. Notwithstanding the eff various volume of RAM example 1st Red = 512 MB and 1st Puritan = 1 GB. Again the CPUID present supply you to distinguish the existing RAM susceptibility and type the machine make and you can buy the literal synoptic one to grade.

3. Graphical Cards Slot Port: Graphic bill programme are distributive into 2 joint types which is the AGP (Accelerated Graphical Ports) and PIC Show (Peripheral Constituent Unite Acquire) for all ATI and NVidia vivid greeting technologies. AGP is the older write and it was phased out in 1999 by the newer PCI Shipping programme. AGP variant hold 2 types which is the AGP and AGP pro (These 2 types cannot fit the homophonic motherboard. PCI Get has different of slot 1x, 4x, 8x, 16x. Tho' PCI Verbalise port maybe harmonious to with disparate slot for monition PCIe 1X is matched with motherboard that as PCIe 16x receptacle, but it maybe low performing its optimum aptitude mold. Commonly the machine work name the lifelike separate type by either AGP or PCI State and its programme i.e. 1x, 4x, 16x.

4. The identify of generic PCI slot the motherboard has. This is chief to eff as it gives you deciding how some additional PCI instrumentality you can put into the motherboard i.e. Ethernet PCI carte, PCI stable record, Artefact USB longness porthole PCI cardboard, TV record. If you tally all the PCI interval full engaged then it is unusable to buy further parts as there is no spot to put it.

5. Informed the computer component method not exclusive provide users to live the specification their computer component but also to gestate the precise software drivers and utilities to get them output properly. Without the exact drivers all the instrumentality may under-performing its susceptibleness or debased and transmute unuseable. Instalment new software or when system stiff plate is re-formatted unremarkably module tell re-installation of the software drivers and utilities to get the method hinder to inborn.

Instance similar Measure Correspondence, USB Opening PCI Airing roll, Graphic Scorecard, PCI Ethernet Carte, etc. Without the precise utility installed these hardwares power not be performance or low performing I.e the scheme run slower than modal, the sound lineup not work or not optimize, and realistic bill is not fully optimized.

February Observations Revisiting Google Trends

February 2013 Observations

Revisiting Google Trends –
Anything New Looking at Google Search and the World of Hard Copy?

In the last six months, we have collectively made it through election season followed by influenza season. What does this have to do with printers and printing?

Well, in the world of search terms, both elections and flu season are subject to sometimes remarkable analysis via Google Trends (for examples, see “Who is Running for President”and “Predictive Analytics Allows Feds to Track Outbreaks in Real Time” - though the recent coverage on Google’s 2012/2013 results regarding the flu conclude the firm over-estimated the outbreak’s severity). With a little time and experimentation, print and hard copy-related search terms could be given similar scrutiny.

Gaining insights from the frequency and patterns of Internet search terms is not exactly new. Back in September 2008, I did some analysis and then wrote about it. It was, at the time, a fascinating new search-analysis tool called Google Trends. (See “Reading the Google Tea Leaves”). In the article I explained a bit of the background including the “art versus science”aspects of search term analysis, much like in other analytical and predictive fields, and presented results of several different comparisons I had found interesting at the time. With my interest spurred by the news items mentioned above and others like them, I was curious to go back and see how my insights might have changed since 2008.

The first graph (below) shows four years’ worth of search frequency data for four well-known HP printer brands – LaserJet, Officejet, Deskjet, and Designjet (keeping in mind that something like “LaserJet” is much more definitive in this sort of analysis than “printer”). In 2008, the data going back to 2004 showed a “down-and-to-the-right” trend for all four terms. This year’s analysis showed those trends continuing with one notable exception. The four search terms held their relative rank over nearly five years, but “Officejet” was the one search term that was “up and to the right” and gaining on “LaserJet” for the number one position. Those who follow the industry know that HP has been pushing “color in the office” via the firm’s color Officejet products for some time now, and this analysis would seem to reflect that.

HP Four Printer Brands search terms held relative rank but Officejet was up and to the right and gaining on LaserJet

My analysis in 2008 also tried to go beyond printer versus printer. I weighed public interest, as measured by search term frequency, by adding in new devices that might be seen as substitutes for printers. At the time, I did some “LaserJet/iPhone/Kindle” matchups. Realizing the “iPhone” search results swamped the other two (iPhone then was essentially an upside outlier), I presented simply the “LaserJet/Kindle” comparison. Like with the first example, I repeated the analysis this year to see how things might have changed. Since late 2008, searches on “Kindle” have rapidly outpaced “LaserJet” searches after a far more “neck-and-neck” view back then.

Since 2008 Kindle has far outdistanced LaserJet as a Google Search Term

So could I find any good news in Google Trends’ printer-related neighborhood? As mentioned, precision in terminology (or the lack of it) adds challenges for the analyst and acronyms often introduce a lack of precision, but I finally found an analysis of “MFP” (aka multi-function printer or peripheral) to be a fairly definitive search term, as evidenced by the related terms showing up in the lower right of the graphic below.
An up and to the right result came from looking at MFP

But to close with some less-than-jolly news for those of us in the printing and imaging industry, and after having relatively good luck with “MFP,” I experimented with some more non-brand-specific terms. I tried “paperless,” which is often bandied about to mean a number of things but all of them generally describing a reduction in printed materials of some kind. It presented a not-surprising growth trend with a wide variety of related terms, as can be seen in the graphic below. I then overlaid another potentially nebulous term, “hardcopy,” trusting that many, if not most, of the searches for that term would be printing-on-paper related. And guess what? It was a predictable down-and-to-the-right pattern.

Paperless vs hardcopy yielded interesting if predictable results

Just as I found in 2008, a little persistence with this powerful tool can yield some surprising and, equally valuable, validating results. I will continue on my quest to further master Google Trends and hopefully gain further insights into our business. And guess what? A new, related tool from Google called Google Correlate made its appearance recently, since my initial 2008 explorations as well. So stay tuned for some results from that world as well!

Antonio Perez takes a shot

Kevin Maneys Tech Observer blog contains a post from over the weekend about his discussion with Kodak (EK) chairman and CEO Antonio Perez on the subject of Silverbrook Research and Memjet. Despite Eastman Kodak Companys good news last week including profitable third quarter and the EasyShare inkjet all-in-one printers now being available at an amazing 7,600 retail outlets worldwide, Kevin seems to have caught Antonio with an ire-inspiring question. Ive documented both HP (NYSE HPQ) and Lexmarks (NYSE LXK) rather grumpy responses about Memjets promise in the past, so maybe Perez felt like it was his turn to go on the record.

Twitter complements blogging

Ive received minimal, but positive, feedback on my post from a few days back on my own nascent approach to integrated Twitter and my more established Blogging activities. In a confirming post from Darren Rowse at ProBlogger, "Blogging vs Twitter: A Few Random Thoughts on the Two Mediums". Great piece and thanks @lanceulanoff for the tweet.

Ill leave it to interested readers to get to the Problogger post, and Ill leave it at that -- nothing I hate more than too much of bloggers blogging about blogging (but it does come up once in awhile!).

A few HP NYSE HPQ thoughts on printing less

A tip of the hat to my friend and one-time HP colleague Vince Ferraro over at the LaserJet blog for his acknowledgement of, and comments on(see "Tips for Printing Less") the column by Dan Costa, "Three Steps to a Paperless Office", over at PC Magazine. I enjoyed Vinces HP perspective on what I would call "sensible printing", i.e. lets not get crazy and avoid it altogether, but lets think a little bit about when print (vs viewing) makes sense.

And I appreciate Dans view on the history of "overkill" printing, as he tracks back to copiers and network printers, and I also like his three steps, parts of each my regulars will have read about here. Step 1 includes the "meme" about not printing email, that I blogged about just a couple of weeks ago (see "Please Consider The Environment"), and Step 2 mentions GreenPrint, an oft-mentioned product/company in this space including their recent Download.com version. (See "GreenPrint World now on Download.com".) By the way, since that early February post, the number of downloads has tripled, from a little over 12,000 to 37,999. That will be an interesting stat to continue to follow. Costas Step 3 advises on the use of PDF and Microsoft Office attachments, again practice Ive followed and observed. In fact, my recent favorite has been noting how in my experience around higher education these days, a "paper" has become somewhat of a euphemism.

Printing in the Enterprise

Live from the 2008 Lyra Imaging Symposium in Rancho Mirage CA

The lunch break has arrived on the first of two days of the 2008 Lyra Symposium, and along with it the nice weather, on a calm and pleasant day in the California desert.

The major portion of the morning was dedicated to Printing in the Enterprise. Ann Priede, the managing editor of Lyra Researchs The Hard Copy Observer (and, in the full disclosure department, my boss when it comes to my monthly print column duties for that publication) provided a recap of the year 2007 in the printing and imaging business. She used a creative MySpace-inspired approach dubbed LyraSpace that provided a dashboard for industry participants, in looking back on what was an eventful year in the business.

Bruce Dahlgren, Senior Vice President of HPs Global Enterprise Business, Imaging and Printing Group (IPG), followed with an interesting presentation, talking about "Alternate Thinking to Printing" where he explained what HP means when talking about "Print 2.0 in the Enterprise". He traced some of the history of enterprise printing, going back to his days as a more generalized IT executive, and frankly shared his general disinterest in printing back then, at least as anything strategic. He then traced changes in enterprises, with some great anecdotal material, evoking memories of mail carts and overhead transparencies among others, and described the change that has been wrought during the shift in eras from print-and-distribute to distribute-and-print.

Not surprisingly, he concluded with a vision that involves MFPs as information on-ramps and off-ramps, implemented with processors, connectivity, and user interfaces that make them capable and thus relevant to end users as well as IT organizations and the entire enterprise. All using HP devices and Managed Print Services, of course!

Steve Reynolds, Senior Analyst, Lyra Research, followed with a talk entitled "Future Growth Factors in Enterprise Printing: Workgroup Printers and MFPs, Color Penetration, Laser vs. Inkjet, and Edgeline vs. Memjet" that tracked each of the major copier/MFP vendors and their approach to the business, including Managed Print Services.

While he covered many competitors, my thoughts were around his comments about HP, which was a mixed review, to be fair. As a relatively new entrant in the copier/MFP realm, the company has had success as well as failure or at least frustration. When it came to this bullet point about Managed Print Services, though, I thought back to some of my conclusions from Dahlgrens talk.

Significant potential if HP gets its act together and leverages Web Jetadmin, Universal Print Driver, Output Server, nonprint systems [e.g. blade servers]

While the cynic might observe that the HP "Print 2.0 for the Enterprise" story is really just a another version of HPs Managed Print Services by another name, albeit fortified with Dahlgrens leadership, a growing selling effort, and strategic acquistions (see "Exstream Printing"), to name a few, isnt that what Reynolds is saying it will take for HP to succeed? The parts, at least many of them, are there, now it just takes strong and steady efforts, and if its called "Print 2.0 for the Enterprise" now, so be it!

The Enterprise Printing Track closed with presentations from Cortney Kasuba, Research Analyst, Lyra Research, with "Enterprise Printers and Copiers Tell All: Insider Insights from Lyras Office Print Monitor", and Laura Hunt, Director, Marketing and Strategic Partnerships, PrintFleet, who spoke on "Managing Profitable Relationships with Managed Print Services". The companies are partners in the OPM project, which is rapidly developing interesting trend data on end user printing behavior in organizations.

Live from San Diego HP NYSE HPQ Imaging and Printing event

Im at HPs annual Imaging and Printing event for the Press/Analyst community, in San Diego. The weathers beautiful, but its not like wed know it, with the full schedule HPs packed in for us over these few days. And while the "live" usage in this posts title might indicate otherwise, "live blogging" this event is out of the question, at least with my limited observational and typing talents. Its a three-ring circus here, as it should be, with HPs ever-broadening coverage of the printing and imaging field.

So I will direct my readers to a collection of press releases* for now, and will highlight a few of the high points from HP (NYSE HPQ) printer chief Vyomesh Joshi (aka VJ) and his kick-off presentation yesterday.

VJs highlights included these vital financial stats from the last year: IPG revenues of $29.4 Billion, with an overall 15.4% operating profit, and 8% revenue growth attributed to the supplies portion of the total. Not to be satisfied though, he identifies an overall $265 Billion printing opportunity for HP, comprised of the growing digital portion of the imaging and printing business, now pegged at 10% of the total 53 trillion pages to be printed in 2010. Strategically, VJ spotlights the transition in the view of the business from "Printers" to "Printing" to "Pages".

So much to discuss, so little time. Now off to more sessions!

Point Counterpoint on consumer printing

I covered the Wired Gadget Blogs "Five Useless Gadgets" post from about a month ago, with "covered" in this case meaning barely more than a mention, and an admonition to please recycle. Writer Charlie Sorrels November 3rd post took on printers, scanners, and fax machines, along with "built-in optical drives" (i.e. DVD burners and the like) and landline telephones as has-been devices ready for the junk pile. Overall I thought he made some good points but as I mentioned in my brief brief, he seemed to have tongue firmly (or loosely anyway) in cheek.

Now one of our leading printer industry blogs, the Databazaar Blog, takes on Charlies arguments with a vengeance in a piece by Writer Kara Soos, "Ditch Your Printer Says Wireds Charlie Sorrel. We Say Ditch Sorrels Silly Argument."

Its an interesting face-off, with the snarky gadget blogger up against the ink-and-toner-sponsored counterpart. Wisely Kara lets the Wired blogs comments do most of her arguing, and she has an advantage with the bulk of those seeming to go against the "useless" rant. However, theres a stretching of the point, especially around an implication (that I read in anyway), of the category of consumer printers being "as healthy as ever". As just one quick-and-dirty data point, industry leader HP (NYSE HPQ) and their recently announced quarterly metrics, reflects a decline in consumer-class hardware unit sales, down 8% in the most recent quarter, year-to-year.

iPhone Printing Apps in bloom

The last three or four weeks have seen a plethora of iPhone printing apps hit the market. Canon (Easy-PhotoPrint), Kodak (NYSE EK) (Pic Flick) and Lexmark (NYSE LXK) (LexPrint) have joined HP (NYSE HPQ) (iPrint Photo), as providers of photo-printing apps that 1) are free, and 2) work on a subset of their own branded printers, which are typically WiFi-enabled but in some cases simply reside on the same WiFi LAN as the users iPhone.

The overall market hasnt totally ignored the developments either, with LexPrint gaining kudos from Gizmodo. (see photo)

CreativePro coms new look

CreativePro.com is up today with a redesigned web site that features, in the words of their press release, "print and Web designers, photographers, and other creative professionals easy and free access to each other and to valuable how-tos, reviews, news, products, and services that help these pros reach their business and career goals."

In addition to todays news, I find some tidbits to be quite interesting, regarding CreativePro and their history. The site has been a resource for design professionals since 1999, and at one point was owned by ImageX, a Seattle-based firm that was one of several of the original Internet-based printing companies (Noosh is another that comes to mind). While ImageX is now no more than an historical footnote, CreativePro survives and thrives, as a subsidiary of PrintingForLess.com, the Livingston, MT-based company Ive blogged about here in the past, beginning with my May 2007 Observations print column, "The Year of Small Business".

Which brings us to the interest here. As SMB print jobs are shifting both back into the office and to easy-to-use remote shops like PrintingForLess, the areas of graphics arts and design may become at least a part of the job for more and more office workers and entrepreneurs.

Thanks for CreativePro.coms editor-in-chief Terri Stone for clarifying both the sites interesting history and its current mission as the site "where creatives go to know". Worth a look!
